We are contracted with most of the managed health care plans serving the greater Houston area. If we are not in your network we know who is and will be glad to refer you to an in-network provider. We are also approved by Medicare, Medicaid (including managed Medicaid) and TRICARE. We are Cambridge Health Systems.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of IntraCare North Hospital and IntraCare Medical Center Hospital, as our name implies, is to provide individualized treatment and care to our patients and their families. We shall provide high quality, ethical and cost effective services in a safe and responsive environment.

Both facilities reflect our commitment to treat patients in the least restrictive environment possible. Hospital staff members strive to create an environment of respect for our patients' rights and dignity.

IntraCare Hospitals are not for profit and have provided behavioral health services to the Houston Community for over 20 years.

24-Hour CARELINE

Both IntraCare Medical Center Hospital and IntraCare North Hospital offer emergency psychiatric services via level 4 Emergency Departments. Assessments and intake functions are available for patients of all ages, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The IntraCare Hospitals follow all EMTALA regulations related to assessment, care and treatment of patients presenting for emergency services. Transfer to a general medical hospital is available for patients whose presenting emergency needs include medical problems beyond the scope of the psychiatric services available at IntraCare.
